Clarita’s House is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 outreach program for the homeless and disadvantaged. We are a Christ centered program based on Christian principal. Our programs are smoke free, drug and alcohol-free. Our accommodations are currently for women only. Our goal is to have accomodations for men, women and women with children.
For the past three years we've been we've also been ministering to the homeless on the streets and in shelters in Orange and Osceola counties. We provide them with a hot meal, clothing, blankets, toiletries and spiritual support.
Our programs depend solely on assistance from individuals, Corporation, Churches, and Foundations.
Our Mission - To help the homeless and disadvantaged Achieve self fufficiency and Inspire them to reconnect with society in a productive way.
Our Vision is a short-term residential program for the homeless and those in transition. To provide temporary housing, food, clothing, counseling, medical screening, life skills and support needed to become independent and productive members of our community. Our vision is to serve Osceola and Orange counties of Central Florida.
We are committed to serving God and the needs of the homeless and disadvantaged. Every year over 3 million people experience homelessness, including 1.3 million children. The face of homelessness is diverse. It includes mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, and racial and ethnic minorities. One third of the homeless population is made up of families, 25-40% work, 37% are families with children, 25% are children,25-30% are mentally disable, 39% are veterans, 40% are drug or alcohol dependent.
